Our son Nick and his wife Alicia had their second boy this week! I think he is precious!

This is little Brason Mateo peaking out at you

Sweet little guy. His names mean "Gift of God" and "Devoted to God"

Sleeping contentedly in mommy Alicia's arms.

I am so happy that we can see pictures on FB, and we were also blessed to Skype with them in the hospital room the first day. Brason seemed to be sleeping through his big brother Malachi's enthusiasm.

I think these photos of Malachi checking out his baby brother are too cute

Such a good gentle boy. He will have lots of time ahead to wrestle with his little brother.

This happy Grandma Jenny just had to share my blessings!

Congratulations! Next month I will be heading over to N. Ireland again for the birth of my youngest daughter's second baby. Her little girl, Sianna, is 19 months. We are not sure what she is going to think of a little brother or sister. I hope she will be as sweet about it as Malachi! Both your grandsons are so precious! We are blessed!

@DanishDoll - We are blessed indeed! They have been preparing Malachi by having him talk to his baby brother in mommy's tummy. When he got to the hospital they showed him the baby and he wasn't really interested. So they said, "say hi to your brother". He ran over to talk to Alicia's tummy, and they told him, "no,he isn't in mommy's tummy any more, this is your brother". Then he was so much more interested in Brason. He ran over and leaned against the baby and started talking to him. A lot for a 17 month old to grasp.

@inanorchard - Thank you, isn't he sweet? No trips at present, til David's health turns around as he is still very ill. But we know Brason will be adorable at whatever age we first get to hold him.

Oh, where did they get the big bro shirt-I want to get Reece Edward one-hope you know and can tell me! I can find stuff for the baby -a onsie that says<baby brother

Oh, Jenny, he is so precious! I'm guessing his name is pronounced rhyming with "Jason"? Such a pretty name! And what a cutie big brother Malachi is!! Such a precious grin!

I am continuing to pray for David, too, and praying for lots of Skype moments for y'all and your faraway kids/grandkids.
